The new hotel is designed by Paris firm Kilo Architectures who also worked on the Four Seasons Marrakesh. The walls are made of limestone panels, uniquely offset at each floor level. According to the hotel’s web site, a traditional, Moroccan lime plaster finish, known as “tadelakt,” will give the walls a translucent glow, which we think these renderings attempt to show.
The best way to summarize the hotel’s interiors is in two words—Anouska Hempel. Anouska Hempel Design is known around the world not only for their extremely well appointed hotel interiors but also for styling up retail spaces, yachts, couture, and even landscapes. If you missed staying at Anouska’s Hempel Hotel in London, which is now closed, you can still live the good life at Blakes Hotel London, where her signature suites are a regular in luxury suite photo galleries. Perfect fit for Baccarat, yes?
